Blogging is fun. I have been doing this for 3 years and would you believe that I never get bored with it? On the contrary, it helped me keep sane. Hair Care and More
As you all know, I just cut my hair shorter and more with style. I decided to cut my hair because I wanted a new look. But, before I cut my hair, I always had a long hair. I grow up having a long hair most of the time. I grew my hair as long as below my waistline.
Having a long hair needs a lot of hair care. An ordinary shampoo is not enough to maintain a healthy and shiny hair. I use Liquid Keratin because it has special ingredients that keeps my hair healthy and shiny. My hair is free from split-ends and breakouts. I also use Keratin Complex. I use between Liquid Keratin and Keratin Complex alternately. These are the brands that really works wonder with my hair.

A Quest for Losing Weight
I was watching a TV show where they feature people who are struggling to keep their weight. They were all obese and their quest to losing weight is their daily struggle. I am not obese, but I sure do wish to lose some weight. Losing weight is a journey with full of temptations so along the way most people stumble.
I keep on saying that I need to lose some weight, yet I haven't done a thing to attain my goal. There is this Power 90 In Home Boot Camp that my friend is telling me about. She said that this type of exercise will guarantee total body transformation in 90 days. I am really curious about this thing. I need to check some more of this.

Apartment and Life Transition
Before I moved here in the USA, Dave lived in a single bedroom apartment. He was living alone so the space is perfect for him. He doesn't want to move until I got here because selecting our first place to live together was a major decision and has to be decided between the two of us.
After a few weeks, we hunted for apartments. On top of our consideration for a new apartment is the budget for rent. You see, there will be two of us living together so the grocery budget will be doubled. Given the fact that only one is working, we need to consider the budget on how much we can allocate for apartment rental. We also wanted an apartment that will be closer to where my husband is working. It is important that we can find a place that will be closer to his work so that we won't spend a lot on gasoline. Then we decided to have a two-bedroom apartment because we were anticipating if there will be a baby then there will be a room for the baby. Another thing we consider while we were hunting for an apartment was the furnishings. We don't have a lot so we wanted an apartment with refrigerator, a stove, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer connection. Lastly, we wanted that lease agreement be six months and renewable for another six months and so on.
Actually we got lucky when after few tries of checking different apartments, we found the apartment that fits our budget. The place is less than 10 miles from where Dave works and the neighborhood is okay. Our neighboring renters are all nice to us and we look out for each other.
After we signed our lease, my life transition in the USA started. I packed and we moved and unpacked. Those things are very tiring but fortunately I was enjoying the move because it was a start of our life together. Everything fall into places and we have been living here for over three years.
Searching for the perfect apartment is an endless search. But if you know your budget, your preferred location, the size, the furnishings and the rental agreement you will find what you are looking for. Detroit
Detroit was my Port of Entry (POE) when I got here in the USA. I remember when we were about to land in Detroit. I was pretty amazed of how beautiful the city was. The first thing I noticed were the cars lined up perfectly in the parking lot. I was so shocked and amazed how beautiful how things were different in Detroit. I thought like "wow! this is America!" Detroit was my port of entry and I still had a connecting flight from Detroit to Birmingham. Due to some legal papers that has slight problem that needs immigration stamping, I missed my connecting flight that is why I had to wait a couple of hours for the next flight.
I remember I waited for over five hours for the next flight to Birmingham but I didn't mind because I was so busy scanning Detroit airport which was to me a pretty awesome airport. Detroit will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first US City that I stepped into.
If we ever decide to move to another place, I think that Detroit will be on top of the list. The continental climate of Detroit will be perfect for us. The entertainment and performing arts that Detroit offers is also very enticing for us. The live music which is prominent in Detroit's night life is perfect for people who loves music and entertainment. Detroit has has two nationally prominent live music venues: DTE Energy Music Theatre and The Palace of Auburn Hills. Living in this place will be full of music and excitement.
If you want to experience the lifestyle, culture, entertainment and be a part of Detroit metropolitan sports (even if you are just a fan), then you need to move and enjoy the life Detroit can offer. Don't worry because there are many Detroit real estate that you can choose from. Oh... I would definitely love to move to Detroit!

Chills from the Arctic Front
As Arctic Fronts chills the US, it leaves many cities in the Southern part of the United States shivering from record icy lows. It is really surprising that even the tropical Florida is experiencing frost warnings. Some states in the southern part are unusually experiencing snow. Alabama is not excused from the nasty cold weather.

To Shop or Not To Shop
It is freezing cold outside and I don't wanna go out because it is a lot of hassle. Going out this cold weather means to bundle up in order to be warm. It always takes a while before we can be ready to get out this cold weather because I have to make sure first that my daughter will be warm enough while we are outside. I have to make sure that she is well bundled up and I have some extra coat and warm clothes with me. There is so much to prepare when going out in this cold weather.
Most often than not, we just stay inside our little abode. Staying inside will definitely ensure that we are warm. Sometimes though it gets boring to be inside the house for a long period of time. When I get bored, the shopper on me kicks in because I have all the time to look for internet deals. Since it is cold it makes me think of shopping for a Jessica Simpson Clancey Boots. This type of boots will surely keep me warm and it is very stylish. Besides the boots, a Patagonia Fleece catches my attention too. Wearing a fleece this winter time will surely keep me warm. When I browse the net for internet deals, I can always find a good deal on everything from clothes to shoes to accessories. I have even found a good price for Hair Blow Dryers. The things that I have listed here are very useful during this cold weather but my dilemma is whether to shop or not to shop. As I am trying to save more and spend less this year, I have to think really hard if do I really need all these items or shall I settle for whatever I have in my closet?

Although, I don't mind helping the kids on their homework, sometimes it is better to check the services offered by guaranteach because they not only help the homework but they also have practice quizzes and free videos. I told her to check it out because I have heard that they also offer Algebra Tutoring which will ensure that her kids will be ahead with algebra lessons. I recommended this website because her kids can try it for free by creating a trial account. I am sure that if they need Algebra Help they can find the best help that can be provided to them through this website. The videos in guaranteach are accurate and appropriate for learning because they are screened by professionals.

The Cook in Me....
I love cooking that is why I have a kitchen blog that showcases the different recipes that I cooked in my kitchen. I enjoy trying different cuisines and I enjoy discovering new dishes. As evidence of my cooking, I gained a lot of weight (which I am not very proud of). Most of the times, I cook very healthy meal. I am very lucky that my daughter Andrea is not picky on her food. She eats everything and she doesn't complain if I feed her fish and vegetables.
I know that baking is healthier than frying but there are foods that are better fried that is why I have a food fryer in my kitchen. Sometimes, we indulge ourselves with those greasy and yummy types of food. I am just glad that I have an electric fryer because all of us love fried shrimp and calamaris. So, whenever we crave for this type of food, it is very easy for me to prepare.
A countertop fryer is also an option to have. This is a very useful kitchen appliance especially if you love to eat french fries. Whenever we indulge ourselves to a fast food type of food, I always marvel at the ability of a commercial fryer to do its frying job. I always enjoy watching the crew when cooking fried chicken or french fries. It always amazes me how quick and easy the process looks.

The Vacuuming Job
Andrea hates the vacuum. When we have to vacuum our place, Andrea and I has to stay inside our bedroom and let Dave do the vacuuming. Vacuums scared Andrea. When not in used, she never get near our vacuum. By the way, our vacuum at the moment is one of those upright vacuums.
We are trying to ease Andrea's fear of vacuum but so far it is not working. I am wondering why when we go to the store and we see store employees vacuuming the store, it doesn't bother Andrea. I guess that commercial vacuums for her are not as scary as our household vacuum.
Speaking of vacuum, we are planning to buy one of the bagless vacuums that I have seen in the commercial. It looks like it is very dependable. I bet in the long run it will be cheaper because I will no longer need to buy vacuum bags.

I always thought that Europe is a very intriguing place that is why it is one of my dreams to visit Europe in the near future.
