When I got here in the USA, I was so tiny! I was a typical Filipino who is short and petite. I can hardly find clothes that fit my size. Most of the times, I shopped at the teen section. But, things changed. I got comfortable living and eating American food. All those sweet desserts and greasy stuff, I gained weight. Adding to the fact that I got pregnant, my size increases. I think the only consolidation that I got from the all the weight that I put on is the fact that I can now shop easily.
Although, I gained weight I still shop for trendy clothes. I am still proud to say that even though I am not as sexy as I used to be, I still dress with glam! Plus size women can still be hot and can still wear those on trend tops, dresses and jeans. Don't let your size be an excuse to look fabulous. Expensive Glove
A rhinestone-studded, modified golf glove Jackson wore on his left hand when he premiered his trademark moonwalk dance in 1983 was auctioned for $350,000! The winning bidder is Hoffman Ma who will pay a total of $420,000 including tax and fees. Ma bought the glove on behalf of the Ponte 16 Resort Hotel in Macau.
Come to think of it... a glove worth $420,000..... hmmm I sometimes wonder why people will pay something as ridiculous as that!....... Oh well I am sure they have their reasons and besides they got the money so why not!!!!

Summer Clothes
When we decided to come here to Mobile, I know I need to bring summer clothes. Since Mobile is near the ocean it is hotter here compared to where we live. When I packed for clothes that we will wear for a week, I packed shorts, sleeveless, spaghetti strap blouses and some other summer clothes for me. I packed shorts, skirts, sleeveless and summer dresses for Andrea. For Dave, I packed his work clothes and some t-shirts and short jeans.
It feels like summer here in Mobile. In fact, we have to use airconditioner. I can't believe that it is hot this time because last year I remember that it was cold and I remember that I wore knitted sweater last year during Halloween's trick or treat.
Anyway, while we were shopping last night, I saw a girl who was wearing a Sexy tie front crop top. I admit, it looks really good on her. She had many heads turn to her because she just look stunning on her outfit. The way she carries herself wearing that type of crop top is very classy. She was just smokin' hot!
I like looking at women who can wear stylish clothes with confidence. I don't think I can wear a sexy tie front crop top because in the first place, I don't have enough upper body to show off!

I love sexy underwear. Even when I was in the Philippines, I wear those skimpy ones. I feel sexier when I wear sexy underwear. Michelle Obama's Dress
I was watching the TV last night and its Election coverage. I was so impressed on how they cover it and the most that impress me is the demographics used in CNN. I was like wow with the way they just touch the buttons on the monitor and the monitor will zoom to a certain area or it will show past vote results in the area. Their demographics is just so amazing.
I watched the coverage until the end. I watched McCain's speech and so is Obama's speech. They both have good speeches. When Obama had his family come out I was disappointed with Michelle's dress. She doesn't look like a first lady on the way she dresses with her dangling earrings.
Granted she wanted a statement on her fashion and granted that the dress was worn by a model but personally i think she could have done better with the blazer (the cover-up top she wore, which i don't know what to call). She could have done something with her hair and her earrings.
Oh well... this is my opinion!

Winter Wardrobe
It's getting cold. Winter is soon here in Alabama.
Winter and cold weather = Change of wardrobe.
Today, after our EENT appointment, we went to shopping for winter clothes. We got a lot specially for our little girl. It is so great to have a little girl because it is fun to shop for cute little outfits. Mom Lori and I had really a great time choosing clothes and shoes for Andrea.
We always have fun going out together. Thanks so much Mom! We love you!

Clothes, Shoes and Purses
Imelda Marcos owns more than thousand pair of shoes. I don't. My friends don't either but for sure we all had more pairs than the average person.
Filipino is always associated with shoes I think because of Imelda Marcos. Personally, I own a few number of shoes because I just love it. I like to wear different shoes depending on what style of clothes I am wearing.
Purses also is a trademark for Filipinos. We all love to accessorize, that is why we have different purses for different occassions and for different outfits.
I am no different. I love clothes, shoes and purses. Gaining weight after being here in the USA for almost 2 years made me change my clothes preferences. Gone were the days of size 0's and 1's. After having Andrea, my purses preference had change also... no more small and handy purses instead I have to use bigger ones because my purses now are multi-use. I use my purse as diaper bag too so I have to have a bigger purse. With shoes, I still use the stylish ones.
Oh by the way, I bought two shoes online and it arrived today! Shhhh I am still waiting for another one.... lol
