Baseball Fantasy... I LOST!

I had high hopes for my baseball fantasy team... then at the quarterfinals I lost my best players... Hamilton and Justin Morneau did not play anymore. During the quarterfinals, I lost 4-5-1... I was disappointed because all through that week I was ahead only to find out at the last moment that I lost the match up.

I conditioned myself not to be disappointed because there was still hope for third place. (I won a virtual trophy for 3rd place last year) But then, yesterday, I lost 4-5-1 again... huhuhuhu.....

No virtual trophy from baseball for me this year.... I hope I will get one from football as I joined football fantasy for the first time....

So far my football fantasy team is doing great! I hope it will stay like this .... wish me luck for another virtual trophy!!!

Farm Town Addiction

I couldn't comprehend before why so many people got addicted to playing at the Farm Town. I have been invited by so many friends to play and be their neighbors but for quite a while I resisted.... until this week...

Well my online works has been slow lately so I decided to give Farm Town a chance. Indeed, I got addicted. For just 2 days I reached level 13. While working in my farm I saw so many farms that are really impressive when it comes to their farm designs. I don't think I can make as nice as their but who knows...

Anyway, since Dave and I both play the Farm Town now, we both needed a mouse and we had a mouse emergency last Tuesday night... we went to the store just to buy a new mouse because it is difficult to do harvest and plowing without the mouse. (FYI, we both use a laptop so mouse is not really a necessity until Farming came into the picture...lol)

Stat Tracker - Loving It!

As I mentioned in my past entries, Dave and I joined Yahoo Fantasy Baseball. We enjoyed competing in our leagues. Keeping track of players who are hot or players who are slumping. We enjoyed the daily competition in order to win the different categories. A week ago, I purchased Stat Tracker for both of our teams. We are really loving it because it provides real time updates on our players statistics thus we will know what category we are ahead or we are behind. This stat tracker really helps us specially if we are behind in a certain category because we will be able to make necessary adjustment right away.

Hopefully, this year I will be able to do good and win another trophy...

The Race is ON

I am excited! Baseball Fantasy already started last night. I will try to keep up with my head to head match. Adding and dropping players everyday to keep up with the statistics. This year I have a very good line up in terms of my batters but I am not lucky enough with my pitchers. I need a good relief pitcher for my save statistics. So far I have added an RP from Baltimore which did well last year. Hopefully, he will give me saves this year too.

The race is on now, I am wishing I could win another trophy this year.

Baseball Fantasy

Baseball season is near. I love baseball. I enjoy playing baseball fantasy. Dave and I already registered for baseball fantasy head to head. We are just waiting for the players that will be assigned to us. Last year, was the first time I joined and I did good! Hopefully, this year I will have another trophy for the baseball fantasy.

Miniature Dollhouse

I grew up not having my own doll. Money was so tight that dolls are not a priority for my parents to buy. When I go to stores, I always love watching the doll displays.

DVDs... anyone???

Andrea got so busy last night. She was working so hard! We just let her have some fun. After seeing what she have accomplished, we decided to put away all our DVDs. She was just so cute messing our DVDs and she really had fun doing it.

Before, she gets the DVD one by one and she usually just get two rows. But last night, she got most of the rows and just get a handful and throw it in the floor.

Of course, what is the use of the camera if you can't capture those moments.

Literati

I really enjoyed playing scrabble. Scrabble is a game I grow up with. I remember when I forced my Mom to play with me. Sometimes, we even played NAMES or visayan words on scrabble. Of the whole family, I can say I am the scrabble master!

When we were living in one roof in Manila, we also used to play scrabble. I am usually the designated scorer because I can do both (playing and scoring) without delay. Sometimes, I even read book while playing scrabble... multi-tasking!

Anyway, when I discovered Literati (almost the same with scrabble), I got hooked with it. When I was working in our internet cafe, I remember playing Literati all the time. I remember how I get frustrated when my connections lags or when my opponents cheats on me. I hate losing because I maintain my scoring color red... the highest bracket. When I play Literati I mean business.

When Dave and I were still chatting, we never miss playing Literati. I am sure all of you can guess who won all the time!

Anyway, I am now back to playing Literati. I stopped playing when our internet connection gave me headache and when our old laptop would just die on me. Now that we have new computer I can now play.. that is when Andrea is asleep! I am not as hooked as I was at this anymore, but still, I really enjoy playing this game.

Phillies WON!

Phillies won the 2008 World Series!

Game 5 was suspended because of heavy rains the game resumed today after 46 hours of suspension.

I have been wishing that the Rays would win but it didn't happen. My sister Menmen is happy for sure since she is a Philly Fan!

I am hoping that next year will be a good year for the Rays!

Saturday Loses

I admit I am now a football fan. There a lot of times that I wake up early so that I can watch the early games on TV. Of course, I am an LSU fan and today is not a good day for the team. They lost to Georgia. My consolation for their loss today, I like Georgia's Moreno and Stafford.

Besides football, I am now also a follower of Major League Baseball. They are now on their World Series Game 3 (Series tied 1-1). I like Tampa Bay Rays... but for today's game, they also lost! Oh well there is still Game 4.

I would really love for Tampa Bay to win the World Series for this is the first time ever that they are in World Series. In fact, this is the first year that they have won more than 90.

About LSU, well... I know they will not win the Championship this year but the team has great potential in the next year or so because by that time they will have an experienced QB and Defensive Team.

I WON!

Yahoo baseball fantasy is over. The last stats that were counted were the games last night. Although there are still teams that plays today, their stats will not be included anymore.

I did win. Two trophies for my two teams in different league. I am happy. This is my first time to join and I won right away. Hopefully, by next year i will have another trophy and perhaps a bigger one....

Azure Dreams

Dave and I are both addicted to Azure Dreams. We play almost every night since we bought this game. We spend so many hours playing this game but until now we are not yet bored with it. We have a goal of making all our monsters up to level 99 and breaking the bank.

When we got this game, I was not into it. I don't play video games then. Dave always encourages me to try it because he kept on telling me that it is very easy and he was sure then that I will enjoy it. I kept on saying no but Dave was persistent. So I tried. At first it gets frustrating since I am not used to the controls yet but after I got used I got hooked.

Here we are almost every night, playing and on the quest for Mazarr, Pita and treasures while building different monsters.

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball still going on

Dave and I thought that yahoo baseball fantasy ends yesterday but obviously we were wrong. We didn't know that the finals is a two week competition. This means that I am gonna wait for another week to know if i will ever get any trophy. So far, I am doing just fine with my stats. Hopefully, it will continue to do so until Sunday.

The game was a good one. I didn't have my full attention to the game (I was busy playing card while watching the game too) but I was able to see them on the crucial moments of their game which ended into a big V... hehehe

Yahoo Fantasy Baseball

Dave and I are enjoying the Fantasy Baseball. This is my first year of joining the league. Thru the help of Dave, I am able to keep up with the game. It is almost over now and I am hoping to win a trophy. We are very much into the head to head games. Last week was the semi finals. From Monday to Saturday I was ahead 6-4 but Sunday games my opponent swamped me with 6 pitchers and I could not find any good ones so I had 4 pitchers for that night. After all the games, we ended up tied 5-5 but to my disappointment, my opponent was the one who advanced into the finals. I don't know what are the basis for it since we are tied. Oh well, I am now playing for third place... if I could win this one I will still have a trophy... very small one...lol

I am trying to monitor my players so as if my opponent will make last minute moves I can make my own too... Hopefully by Sunday i will still emerged a winner even if it is just third place. Well, third place for my first year is not bad at all....

More luck for me on the next season... who knows i will have the BIG trophy....
