Faithful Guards

These are Mischa's dog. When Mischa came over to visit us the first time in our new home, she brought with her the dogs. Andrea was so ecstatic about having the dogs. She talked to the dogs like they are kids her age.

Yes, the dog slept with her in the bed. Aren't they cute?

Caring for your Pets

Anyone who has ever loved a pet knows how much joy that relationship can bring. Pets can be your companion and will love you unconditionally. There is increasing scientific evidence that the unique bond we share with our pets dramatically enriches our lives, our physical health and our emotional well-being. Pets can help to reduce stress, relieve loneliness and depression.

Having a pet is a big decision because it requires a lot of your time and of course a lot of money too. It is the owner's obligation to provide the pets with proper food, care and grooming. I know that when our pets get sick, there is a tendency that we will spend more money that we expect. One of the most common health problems of our pets are fleas. One of the best solution for this problem is the Promeris flea control which can be bought in 3, 6, and 12 dose packages. You can also use Advantix product for prevention and treatment of ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and biting flies.

The pet's health is a main concern to all pet owners. Prevent your pets from getting sick. Order a frontline product for your pets. Remember that Frontline Plus Flea Control is Veterinarians # 1 choice when it comes to flea and tick protection for your pets.

Adopting a Pet

Adopting a pet is a big decision. Dogs and cats require lots of time, money, and commitment. The costs of pet ownership can be quite high. Licenses, training classes, spaying and neutering, veterinary care, grooming, toys, food, kitty litter, and other expenses add up quickly. But if you have the resources, you can adopt a pet and reap the rewards of doing so. Sharing your home with a four-legged friend can be one of life's greatest joys. Dogs, cats, and other pets give us unconditional loyalty and acceptance, provide constant companionship, and even help relieves stress after a hard day's work.

We plan to adopt a cat because Andrea just loves cat. But due to limited space that we have in our apartment we just can't do that yet. Perhaps when we will have our own home we can adopt a pet.

If you are ready to adopt a cat, you can visit Petango.com, an online pet adoption website. This website has real-time searchable database of pets in need of loving homes. If you want to adopt a cat, Petango.com - Adopt a cat! is the best place to find a lovable kitty that will surely make you fall in love with.

Sharing your life with a companion animal can bring incredible rewards, but only if you're willing to make the necessary commitments of time, money, responsibility, and love—for the life of the pet. Petango.com - Adopt a dog today! will help you find the pet dog that you want to provide a wonderful home.

There are many great adoptable pets at Petango.com. Find those pets through the searchable database using your zip code. If you want to know the latest about this website, follow them on twitter at http://www.twitter.com/petangopets, or facebook at http://www.facebook.com/petango.

Be Kind to Animals Week

-1 This week (May 3-9, 2009) is American Humane Association's Be Kind to Animals Week. HomeAgain supports Be Kind to Animals Week. This week is dedicated to helping animals find shelter, provide them with proper medical care and find them a home to love them. There are thousands of animals that are abused, abandoned and lost who are in need of help.

As a pet owner, you can help by visiting the Home Again Web Site and outfit your pet with proper identification that cannot fall off or become impossible to read. You can protect your pet by microchipping. Microchipping is a new permanent form of identification. The veterinarian simply injects it, giving pets the best chance of being reunited with their owners when lost.

You and I can also help by encouraging pet owners to register their pets at Bring Pets Home a fundraising Web site specifically created to help shelter animals. HomeAgain will donate $1 for every pet registered to this program during this time frame. Bringpetshome.com has a collection of popular retailers where you and I can shop. By shopping at these retailers, a portion of the purchase we make will be donated to animal shelters for food and medical care.

Let's be kind to animals, join me in supporting HomeAgain - a comprehensive national pet-recovery service and Bring Pets Home - a Non-Profit Care Helping Animals and Animal Shelters.
