Dahn Yoga

Yoga used to be known as a form of meditation but nowadays, a lot of people also use it for physical fitness. Because keeping fit has been popular around the world, the styles and techniques of Yoga have also evolved.

Dahn Yoga is a Korean Yoga system. Its teachings are said to put emphasis on not just the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual well-being of a person. Its exercises incorporate a blend of yoga, tai chi and martial arts.

Physical benefits include increase in flexibility and balance, and pain management among others. Some of its emotional benefits are to help relax and handle stressful situations, as well as encourage positive thoughts and self-acceptance. Helping you to feel whole and connected with humanity and nature, as well as help you find your life purpose and rekindle your passion for life are some of its spiritual benefits.

Reading through their literature, and other information on the web, I’m actually getting curious to learn about the Basics of Dahn Yoga. If a simple mom like me can learn to adapt it to my way of living, so can you.
