Quick Dinner Prep

We were not sure what we want for dinner. We were thinking of having pizza but we were also uncertain as we don't know what time will Mischa and Ben be here....

Anyway, while we were in Walmart I picked up a 7lb ham for less than $1 per pound. Then all of a sudden it dawned in us (Dave and I), why don't we just have ham for dinner. We hurried home and cook our dinner. I usually cook my ham slowly but this time, I don't have the luxury of time for that.

Mischa and Ben arrived around 9pm. My ham was closed to being ready, so while waiting I heated some sweet corn and heated some beef gravy. I already had rice cooking in the rice cooker. We had our dinner at around 9:30.

Surprisingly, the ham turned out good even if it was not slow cooked. Sorry guys, no pic as I was busy being the host... forgot about picture taking....

Have a great weekend folks!
