Police Harassment

Be Polite even if They are NOT! This is what you need to remember when a law officer will stops you and questions you. Whether you did something wrong or not, it's important that you stay respectful. I know it is very hard to do but if you are being rude with the cop they can use it against you.

Law enforcement officers are hired to serve the public. It is their duty to enforce the law, but that does not give them the authority to act lawlessly. Sadly, plenty of police harassment cases are seen. In some areas they seem to be very common and out of control already.

I know it is hard to maintain our calmness and respect after we are being mistreated by a law officer. Even how hard it is, we have to just go along until the end of contact. If you feel you are wrongly treated, you should report it and file a complaint. Don't be afraid. If no one ever reports bad cops, then no one will know that anything bad is going on.

Let's all be brave and do something about police harassment. This can not go on and on. We need to be an example to others. I know, it is easy to say but hard to do.
