Nostalgia #17: First Portable Pool

Manually blowing it... teamwork! lol

See the well in the background with basin on it... that's where we have to pump water and put in this pool.

My sister who is living in NJ sent us balikbayan boxes every now and then. I remember when I was still in Philippines she sent us a big portable pool. Can you imagine how excited the kids (nieces and nephews) were? We never had a portable pool. So all of us were so excited. We put some air on it using motorcycle pump or just blowing it manually. It took a lot of time and everybody were helping including my dad.

When we had it set up, the morning after the kids couldn't wait to get in. Can you believe that we have to manually pump some water from the well and put it in the portable pool? Yes, it was hard work but the kids love it so much.

This was over 4 years ago.. the kids have grown up already... and I still miss them a lot!
