Nostalgia 16: Home Service Manicure

When I was in the Philippines, we ask our manicurist to come to our house every two weeks. Me, my sisters and my mom will have manicure and pedicure at the comforts of our house and no other people waiting. When I got here in the US manicure and pedicure was so expensive that I just decided to do my own. The price for a manicure and pedicure service here is beyond my reach and besides I am "kuripot"!

I do miss the good service and the cheap rates in the Philippines that why during our last vacation, I had my nails done at our own porch! I did bring some nail polish as nail polish here are quick dry.

Oh miss Philippines... I wish I can afford a vacation right now... but then again, I don't have passport still so I can't come home yet lol....

haha, maybe your $30 manicure/pedicure could go a long way here in our local salon, you could have foot spa, and free head massage...

You are not alone lol. Never pa ako nagpapedicure and manicure dito. And take note, once pa lang ako nagpapautol ng buhok sa parlor, inatake ako sa puso sa bill nung unang haircut ko that I decided to cut it myself and have my husband help me na lang wahhahaha

How much does a manicure and pedicure cost in the philippines?

In the shopping malls there are often stalls set up for eyebrow plucking done with twisted cotton thread ... not sure how much this is but it appears to be very popular. Manicures and pedicures however are a different story - I can't say that I have ever seen these done in any public places.

About two weeks worth of bread or cereal then? I think I'd rather have the food.
