I have seen a few of bio movies of some people. I though enjoy watching shows about biography but I don't think I can say that I have seen a lot of movies in this genre. For some that I have seen, these what comes to mind:

Cuba Gooding, Jr as Radio (Radio)
Based on the real-life story of South Carolina high school football coach Harold Jones and his mentally-challenged assistant, James Robert "Radio" Kennedy.
Julia Roberts as Erin (Erin Brockovich)
An unemployed single mother becomes a legal assistant and almost single-handedly brings down a California power company accused of polluting a city's water supply.
