Homestead Hollow

For mother's day, we decided to visit Homestead Hollow in time for their Springfest. Homestead Hollow 2009 festivals featuring fine arts, unique - one of a kind - hand made crafts, pioneer demonstrations of the old time days- see wood carving, ironwork, blacksmithing, smoke house cooking, gardening, quilting, whiskey making at our original working still, tour our original cabins as they were built by the early settlers.

Indeed we were able to witness some demonstrations of old time days... we were also able to roam around the place and look at some unique crafts. Andrea had enjoyed petting and feeding the animals. It was a wonderful experience. There were quite a number of people and kids who enjoyed the beautiful day.

Visiting Homestead Hollow was only part of our Mother's Day Celebration. I got gifts and we had more celebration (in the other posts).
