Free Field Trip

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Lunchables. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of the biggest advantages of a field trip is the opportunity to get hands-on education. A field trip gives the students opportunities that even the most well-prepared teacher cannot afford. It gives the student the ability to see and touch things that they cannot inside the classroom environment. Field trips can bring to life concepts that remain abstract through traditional means of learning. It can help the children to engage in learning and it can open their eyes to the world beyond the classroom.

When budget cuts come through the local school system, field trips are among the first activities on the chopping block. According to a 2009 report from The American Association of School Administrators, the number of school districts eliminating field trips will increase by 56 percent. That’s more than 30,000 schools. In an effort to help deserving kids across the country go on an inspiring, educational experience Lunchables Lunch Combinations launch a program called Field Trips For All. Anyone 6 years of age or older can nominate a deserving classroom to win a field trip sponsored by Lunchables Lunch Combinations.

Do you know a classroom that deserves to be one of the 50 classrooms to go on an inspiring and educational experience? Submit your nomination at http://www.lunchables.com/potential/.
