Shower Rules for Dry Sensitive Skin

If you have dry sensitive skin, it may help you follow the following suggestions:
  1. Never take a hot shower. The temperature of the shower should be lukewarm. Superhot water dries out the skin.

  2. Use hypoallergenic products. If your skin gets irritated at the drop of a hat, using hypoallergenic products is good for you because they have fewer dyes and perfumes than regular formulas.

  3. Limit your exfoliation. Exfoliate your face and body once a week only. Your skin could turn red or break out if you do it more than once a week.

  4. Apply body wash and scrubs with your hands. Avoid using abrasive washcloths, loofahs, or sponges.
