TCP: Fantasy Adventure

Here is my entry for this week.....
NIM'S ISLAND

Anything can happen on Nim's Island, a magical place ruled by a young girl's imagination. It is an existence that mirrors that of her favorite literary character, Alex Rover - the world's greatest adventurer. But Alexandra, the author of the Rover books, leads a reclusive life in the big city. When Nim's father goes missing from their island, a twist of fate brings her together with Alexandra. Now they must draw courage from their fictional hero, Alex Rover, and find strength in one another to conquer Nim's Island.

I love this week's theme because I enjoy watching this type of movie genre. I have many favorites of this genre. To name a few, I enjoyed Stardust, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pan's Labyrinth and a lot more....

For a change, I choose NIM's Island because I love Jodi Foster. I love this movie and its location. It would be a great dream to have a place in an island. I would definitely welcome the peace, quiet, serenity and beauty of a place like the one in the movie.
