Anthurium

It was in the mid 1990's that I discovered about Anthurium. I was a college student then who was taking Agricultural Technology course. Our school covers a lot of area and needless to say we have nursery, piggery, goatery, cattle raising, egg layer production and a lot of land for gardening. It was an Agricultural College so of course it has everything that has to do with agriculture. Anyway, I remember the school had anthurium production. It was there that I saw different colors of anthuriums and from then on I fell in love with Anthuriums. I remember those days where we gets so excited when we see small anthuriums, when it gets big enough we will replant it. We also learned how to crossbreed them.

There were lots of people who got hooked into it. A lot of houses has its own anthurium garden. People barter their anthuriums that way they will own different varieties.
