CD Rates

I am planning on having my own CD account. GMAC Bank has a good 3 month CD rates. For balances of $500 or more they will offer a rate of 3.15% with an annual percentage yield of 3.25%. I think this is a good deal. I will have to check more on this. GMAC is insured by FDIC so whatever I will invest will be safe.
