Summer Activity

Kids love summer for sure! It is the time where they will be out of school and they can enjoy the outdoors. When kids are out of school, they do not have to worry about homework and school projects. They can just enjoy being a kid without school responsibility.

As a child, my favorite summer activity was swimming. I remember how our whole family always went to the river, do the laundry there and after the laundry was the swimming and water fun. We always have a longer time to enjoy the water because we had to wait for our clothes to be dry before we have to come home.

Life was simple then.

After couple of years, industrialization reached our place. We already have water supply and no more need for us to go to the river to do the laundry. We started to go to the beach during special occasions and we even go to private swimming pools where there is an entrance to be able to swim. My nephews and nieces always looked forward for a swimming pool treat because they love wearing their swimwears and swimming goggles. They also enjoyed playing with their swimming toys.

This summer though, I don't think we will be in the swimming pool often. As much as Andrea loves the pool, I couldn't risk her ear infection.
