Stuff Toys for My Daughter

I’ve been collecting stuff toys for my daughter because she just loves these fluffy and huggable toys. I have bought her several large teddy bears that have become her favorites and she hugs them while she she’s on the bed and goes to sleep. There is a space inside her room where all her stuff toys are placed.

I think every little girl wants to have a collection of stuff toys. When I was a little girl, I always wanted to have stuff toys and because there was not enough money to buy, it was a luxury for me. Owning one was a dream come true. But now, I’ve made sure that my little girl gets a stuff toy or two every year.

These toys are just perfect for hugging and cuddling, especially those giant ones. What I like about them is that they come in different sizes, shapes, characters and they are just very cute and can actually offer comfort. These toys can lighten up a little girl’s day or can even teach little children pretend play. Most often than not, stuff toys become a child’s first playmate, they end up sitting in a chair while the child serves tea in toy tea cups and or being served some plastic slices of cake or pizza.

Having stuff toys around my girl will indeed help her learn things through play. It will give her the opportunity to play different roles that will shape her and her future. I am just thankful that I made the right choices for my little princess.

Baby Toys

When I became a mother, I learned that motherhood is a continuous process. I learn more everyday. My daughter is almost 3 years old now, but still I am trying to learn different skills about being a good mother. I think I am lucky because I am a stay at home mother. I was able to see my daughter growing up. I was there to witness all the milestones of her growing years. I know that some mothers are not lucky enough to devote their time with their kids because of the demands of their professional careers and because some of them has to work for a living.

I consider my daughter very lucky to be born here in the USA with all the comforts that are reachable. As an only child, she has abundance of everything, from clothes, to gadgets, to toys and everything else. As much as possible, we buy toys that enhances mind development.

There are many sellers of toys for kids that sells Lilliputiens. Lilliputiens toys are known for its unsurpassed quality and longevity. They have products that help to stimulate a child's curiosity, agility and senses. Lilliputiens unique toys challenges a child at several stages of development. If you are looking for quality toys for your babies, check out the products offered by the French toy manufacturer - Lilliputiens.

High LEAD level on Toys... BEWARE!!!

The effects of lead exposure on fetuses and young children can be severe. They include delays in physical and mental development, lower IQ levels, shortened attention spans, and increased behavioral problems. Fetuses, infants, and children are more vulnerable to lead exposure than adults since lead is more easily absorbed into growing bodies, and the tissues of small children are more sensitive to the damaging effects of lead. Children may have higher exposures since they are more likely to get lead dust on their hands and then put their fingers or other lead-contaminated objects into their mouths.

Holiday season is around the corner, and I am sure that some have already started their shopping for holiday gifts. Moms like me does buy toys for our little ones. I am just reminding all of us about the toys that are high in lead. They are dangerous to our kids. So before buying toys, be sure to check if it is safe for our kids to play with it.

Among those with high lead levels: a Barbie Bike Flair Accessory Kit and a Disney Tinkerbell Water Lily necklace, Dora the Explorer Activity Tote.

Please read the news here.

New Chef in Town!

The new Chef is in Town! In fact she woke up early and decided to start cooking and banging her pots and pans early too! She always makes sure that her cooking is in high standards that is why she never fails to taste what she is cooking.... Whenever I am around, she makes sure that she will let me taste her cooking, perhaps hoping that I would approve!

Meet the NEW CHEF!

Making sure that the kitchen untensils are ready before cooking

She is happy that everything is complete

She has to make sure first that the lids fits before cooking.

Trying to taste how the cooking goes!

Piano

Andrea got a new toy... a piano. We noticed that Andrea likes to hear music and she dances when she hears one, so we thought that a piano will be good for her.

True enough, when we bought the piano she played with it endlessly. It is annoying in my part though to hear the meow music that she likes a lot. She loves her new toy. She keeps on dancing while the music is playing. Andrea got tired but she still wants to play so she became creative. She laid down and let her feet do the piano playing. I don't know where she learns it, but it worked.

The morning after, she woke up and play with the piano again. She discovered the microphone and when she used it, she got scared. I think she was not prepared of the different sound that it will make. I feel bad though because she ran away from it crying. She got so scared. But after few minutes she went back to the piano and play with it. She just didn't touch the microphone again.

Educational Toys

Andrea is 17 months. At her young age, she is learning a lot of things already. She is trying her best to talk although we can't understand her yet. She keeps on talking in her own way. For the past few days, she is enjoying herself pretending to read. She will open the pages of her different books then she will start talking like she is reading. Sometimes, she would hand the book to me or to her Dad and let us read it for her.

Among other things, Andrea loves to listen to music. Whenever she hears a music that she likes, she will start dancing to the beat. She also tries to imitate the singer so she also sings (it is actually more like humming).

As we noticed that Andrea is music inclined, we buy her toys that plays music or makes music. In this way, it will encourage her to develop her love for music. One of her favorite toys is the Smart Builders Piano. This toy is one of the many products sold by MEGA Brands.

Mega Brands sells different variety of toys. You can shop by category or by age. They have educational toys that will help develop your child's creativity, concentration, coordination and patience. Shop now and give your child a toy that can help develop his potential.
