Going Back to School

Sometimes being a mom or a soon-to-be-mom entails sacrifices - a lot of them to be exact. I know some of my friends chose to stay at home and take care of their family rather than finish the college education. Most of them still think about going back to finish their studies but when certain conditions are met, like if their babies are a little bit grown up, or if they can get some financial support or loans to help out.

Once they decide to go back to school, one option available for them is to look for the top online schools where their desired course is available. Online school has become a trend and from the list of hundreds of them, one can choose the best online colleges and then inquire if that certain school fit their budget and can work around their schedule.

I know there are a lot to choose from and I actually found a list of the best online colleges for 2011. I’m pretty sure this list can be a big help to everyone who is planning to pursue their education through distance learning.

Things to have for surviving college

The Author of this post is Solomon Dejesus

Fall is quickly approaching, which means that school will be back in session. Community colleges and universities are filled with lots of new enrollments, so I figured I would compile a list of must haves to survive college. Of course you need to start with the basics like pens, paper, folders, binders, you get the idea.

Different classes require different materials, but every professor will require the materials mentioned above. If you are taking a math course be sure to buy things like a good calculator and some graph paper, same goes with any kind of science courses. For English courses you'll need tons of paper and maybe a good dictionary and thesaurus. Most professors will provide a list of things you will need for the class on the first day. The one thing that every college student needs is a tv and internet package. You will find many valuable resources on the internet for college, such as study guides and informational websites. I have been in college for two years now and there is no way I could've made it without the internet.
