In some parts of the country, snow has totally covered the surroundings. Here in Alabama, it snows, once in a blue moon and that probably is the reason why I want to book a ski holiday one of these days. I’ve always wanted to try to ski and feel the adrenalin rush and just experience snow itself. It would really be an adventure of a lifetime.
Since I am quite interested in trying and learning to ski, I’ve looked into Fast Track Ski. They offer cheap ski holidays for 2012. They have a ski holiday team that will help and guide you in finding a ski holiday deal. It can be in the Alpine Region, Austria and Italy or at the Pyreness, Andora, which are all great for families and for those who will be skiing for the first time. So this means it’s perfect for me and for my household.
Aside from trying to ski for the first time, I will also have the chance to see Europe! That is just like hitting two birds with one stone. I bet it would mean a great deal of amount as I would be spending in Euros, but I guess when you’re having fun and all, what you’ve spent won’t matter anymore.

My Top 5 Favorite Ski Movies
I love watching movies and I love movies with ski themes. The following movies always makes me envious to people who can afford ski holidays where they can experience the fun and thrill of skiing.
1. The Spy Who Loved Me
When a massive underwater craft abducts U.S. and Russian submarines, global tensions are heightened to the brink of war. In order to find the true culprit, James Bond joins forces with beautiful Russian secret agent Anya Amasaova. Together they follow a trail that leads to Karl Stromberg, a powerful shipping magnate who is implementing a horrific scheme for world domination. Agent 007's adventure takes him to the Egyptian pyramids, under the sea and to a mountaintop ski chase that builds to one of the most amazing stunts ever filmed. The opening scene in the movie is just so wonderful. It showcases James Bond's skiing masterclass at its glory.
2. Steep
The story of big mountain skiing, a sport that barely existed 35 years ago. It started in the 1970s in the mountains above Chamonix, France, where skiers began to attempt ski descents so extreme that they appeared almost suicidal.
The man who is often described as the greatest big mountain skier of all, the late Doug Coombs who died in a skiing accident in La Grave, France, in April, 2006, is at the center of the story. His rich life and tragic death reveal the essential question at the heart of big mountain skiing: How does a skier weigh the risks versus the rewards of a sport where the possibility of dying is ever present?
3. Aspen Extreme
In this heart-pounding action-adventure, two buddies abandon their blue-collar world to become ski instructors in Aspen, Colorado. There, they discover the electrifying playground of the rich and famous -- experiencing firsthand extreme skiing, wealth, and seduction. Surrounded by temptation, and Aspen's alluring lifestyle, the two friends soon face the toughest challenge of their lives ...

This is about an ambitious young skier, determined to break all existing records, and who is contemptuous of the teamwork advocated by the US coach when they go to Europe for the Olympics.

John Cusack teen comedy from the mid-'80s. The main character loses his girlfriend to the captain of the ski team - and tries to win her back by learning to ski the "K12" - the most impossible run at his local mountain.
