Kindergarten Kamp
For the past few days, our daughter is very excited about it but the closer it gets, the more nervous she gets and today while I was getting her ready for the Kamp, she was not excited about it anymore.
I guess it is just normal because this will be the first time that she will be going to school. I know she will just do fine, I can't wait for her to be picked up. I am sure she will tell us how her day was.
UPDATE:
We picked her up and she was all smiles. She told us that she has so much fun at school and she is excited to come back tomorrow. School is a lot of fun!

Get Well Soon, Tatay
Get well soon, Tay and be a good patient! I know he threatens to pull all those wires on his body because he wants to go home.
And so far, he still don't want to talk to me on the phone. I have to try to call them again and perhaps tease him to talk to me.

New Baby Boy in our Family
This picture looks like the baby is a lot older already. But to be honest, he is just 2 days old in this picture.

ThredUp: Shopping for Less
I stumbled upon a website http://www.thredup.com/ where you can buy and sell high quality clothing for the whole family.
I was happy to be able to buy some clothing for my girls for a lot less than what you will normally pay in any shopping websites. ThredUp is a place to shop for both new and used clothing.
My experience shopping at this website is very satisfactory. The website is very easy to navigate. There were a lot of items to choose from and above all they will give $10 credits for new customers. Shipping is very affordable too as it is just $2.99 for the first item and $0.99 additional for every item in your shopping cart. They even offer free shipping when you order $50.

Swimming Progress
First day of swimming lessons was super fun and exciting for my little girl. She can't wait for the next 4 days. We told Andrea that she has a total of 5 days swimming lessons.
Amazingly, she already learned a bit after one hour of swimming lessons.
We are looking forward to what her last day will look like.

Swimming Lesson
I have been communicating with few possible places for my daughter to have her swimming lessons. We decided to enrol her at Ducks-to-Dolphins Swim Lessons. It is less than 20 miles from where we live so the daily drive won't be that hard.
I found this place through St. Clair Market Place, a group that I am a member of in Facebook. They all have a great things to say about this place, and we are excited that we were able to get a slot for Andrea.
Swimming lessons starts tomorrow and we are excited!

CVS Health Stuff
I did an early shopping at CVS today. I was not looking for anything in particular. I was just planning to see what are the stuff in their clearance sales. I drove to CVS for the first time by myself (with daughter in the back). This was the second time that I drove the car without another driver.
Anyway, I was excited to snag these bottles of fish oil and cinnamon. They were all in CVS clearance sales. They are all 75% off from the retail price. Expiration date is still Year 2017 so I know I can stock up on them.
All the items above were retailed at $ 46.03. With 75% off the price was only 11.51. I used $10ECB which I earned from previous trip. I basically just paid $1.51 (+tax) on all of these. I am a happy with my snags for today!

My Little Fish
Every kid loves the water. My daughter is no different. When we stayed at Joe Wheeler Lodge and Resort in Rogersville, Alabama , she was one excited little girl who is ready to swim with her new floaties. She couldn't wait to swim but I had to tell her we need to wait because it was too hot. When it was bearable, we all dipped in the cold swimming pool.
We all enjoyed our family time swimming. My daughter was so amazed that she can swim because of her floaties. Seeing her and her desire to learn to swim makes me think that she really needs a swimming lesson.

Shopping at Lazada Philippines
My brother needed a bigger rice cooker thus I choose this 10 cups rice cooker. As usual it was on sale thus I got it for a good price. The electric kettle will be something that my mom could use. It is a surprise gift for her and I hope she will enjoy it. I can't wait for them to have the two items above.
Lazada Philippines said they will deliver it within 5-10 days if delivery address is outside Metro Manila. I am counting the days now.

Canvas Press
Why chose Canvas Press? Simple. They are experts! Their work is beyond awesome! It only took less than 5 working days from the time I ordered to the time I got ahold of the canvas. They are very good in packing when your order is shipped. Your canvas is well protected while on transition from their place to yours.
They will pack your canvas in thick carboard and even wrapped it in plastic for more protection.
All these cardboards and plastic made sure that your canvas will reach you in a perfect condition.
I am very happy of the picture that I chose to make into a canvas. My daughter is happier to see herself in a canvas and willingly posed to show off what she got.
Canvas Press surpassed my expectation when it comes to Photos to Canvas Printing. They have done a great job at it. Their customer service is very prompt in answering your questions. Price-wise, they provide good prices on their canvas and other prints. Will I order again? Definitely!

Huge Crayon
My daughter and I went to the mall just to walk around, window shop, play in the mall's playground and do our usual Red Mango trip. Going to the mall means eating Red Mango yogurt with my daughter's choice of toppings. Red Mango is a treat for her.
We also went to different toy stores to look around and play. When we were at Toys 'r Us she wanted me to take a picture of her holding the huge crayon. She has always been fascinated with this crayon because she keeps wondering how can she ever use it to color.
We had fun that day and we were also able to snag some cheap clothes for her.

Bonding with Nick

Nick is my daughter's first degree cousin. He lives in Florida and he comes here in Alabama to visit his Nana. We had a chance to see him and let Andrea have fun with him last Sunday. We haven't seen Nick in over a year I think and it is amazing how Andrea acted with Nick. She seems like they are best friends. They have fun and I am glad that they bonded even for a short period of time.
Now, Andrea knows that Nick lives near the Beach and that she wants to go visit Nick one day and she told me that she needs to bring her swim suit, sunblock and other toys for the beach.

Little Indulgence

I am proud of myself for being very cautious on what to eat especially those with high sugar content. I am diabetic as you all know and I strive hard to limit my carb intake so that I can maintain the blood glucose level that I should have.
Every now and then, I pamper myself with those yummy treats. Last week, my Mother-in-law made this Banana Pudding cake as you can see in the picture. It was delicious. I was able to taste it and had myself a little slice. Well, for me, diabetics can still enjoy all the yummy foods as long as he/she knows his/her limits. Little indulgence won't hurt. If you don't eat anything that you desire at all, then you are not living your life fully. Eat in moderation is what is best for me.

Gardening in our New Home
This post brought to you by Miracle-Gro. All opinions are 100% mine.
As you all know, we have moved to our new home almost a year ago. This is the first time that we did a bigger garden. We wanted to have a bigger garden because we have a big space in our backyard. Besides, hubby and I know that we will enjoy the gardening activity. Before we started our garden, we look online for some fun garden projects and it give us an idea on what to do.
We got over excited with our gardening that we started earlier. Sadly, frost came and it affected the plants that we planted. We try hard to revive the plants but to no avail, so we decided to replant them. I guess it was a blessing in disguise too as we can redo our garden. I will be redoing our garden and this time around I will make sure that I have enough Moisture Control Potting Mix for my garden.
My daughter also loves to garden. I found a perfect idea for us to do. I found them at the The Gro Project and I am excited to start. My daughter and I would love to the the Toyrarium and I think this will be cool.
What You Need
• Fishbowl or other glass container
• Your favorite succulents and cactus
• Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix
• Plastic toys or figurines from your kid’s room
• Rocks
• A spoon
What to Do
Step 1: Cover the bottom of the container with a layer of rocks.
Step 2: Fill it about 1/3 full with potting mix.
Step 3: Use the spoon to plant succulents in the potting mix, adding more mix to create your landscape.
Step 4: Set the scene with your toys. Careful not to overwater! Use a spritzer to moisten only when it gets very dry in there.
Step 5: Add a little imagination and watch it come to life.
Gardening can really be fun and easy. With the help of Miracle-Gro products and ideas I am sure that you and your little one will have fun doing some fun gardening activities. Did you know that there are many ideas at "The Gro Project" that you and your kids can easily do. Check and follow the Miracle-Gro Pinterest page and share your own inspirational project too.
Don't forget that your gardening projects will be better if you use the following products:
Indoor/container:
Shake n' Feed Moisture Control All Purpose Plant Food
Moisture Control Potting MIx
In-ground:
LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food Advance Starter Kit
These products are easily available both online and in stores.

Expecting a Hot(ter) Summer
In humid areas like Alabama and other states, it is close to miserable when it is summer. Thank goodness to the comforts of airconditioning. So, before the summer peaks, better get your homes ready for the coming summer. Call a qualified Air conditioning repair phoenix to service your HVAC. Be sure that your system is running smoothly so that you won't have to face big trouble when the time comes that you badly need this sytem to cool you down day and night.
Air conditioning repairs can be costly but since it is a necessity in every home, you should try to give it the proper maintenance. And yes, don't forget to change your filters too as it always makes a difference. Filters can be bought in the nearest store near you, just don't forget to change it monthly.
Summer may be hot but to be honest, my kid is looking forward to it because for her it means days at the park, more swimming and more outdoor fun.

BPC 120/365 Blimp
We saw the blimp yesterday. We were excited. We thought it has something to do with the Talladega race this weekend. Anyhow, what a coincidence also for my last entry of Blog Photo Challenge as a host. It seems so fitting that it is time for me to fly away and pass the hosting job to a good friend Dhemz. Thanks everyone for joining me this month. See you around!
