Guest Speaker

My youngest brother Jojo is an by engineer profession. He is a License Electrical Engineer. Along with his Electrical Engineer license, he also has a license as master electrician. He graduated from a Trade School. Presently, my brother is working as a seaman. He is working as an electrician. Right now, he is offshore (end of contract).

I don't know how it happened, but his former school got ahold of him and ask him to be some sort of guest speaker. I don't know the whole details but I know he accepted it and he talked in front of students. Hmmm not bad though, he received a stipend for it!

Anyway, Mom asked him how was it and Mom asked him how did he presented his "talk". Jojo told my Mom that it was easy and he talked in Bisaya. When Mom learned about it, she scolded Jojo. Mom said, "you are a professional, you are talking to student, you ought to speak English"... Whewww! Go Mom!!!!

We all laugh when we learned about how Mom scolded Jojo for not talking in English. I remember how Mom encourages us to write our letters in English, when we send them letters before. Looking back though, It helped us that Mom insisted that our letters to them should be in English. It was a good training for us!
